There is now a Linux version of the RenPy Game Viewer and an update for the Windows version. Both using the same new code base.

The new version uses a different UI library, which works also under Linux. (AvaloniaUI)

This means the whole UI of the tool was reworked. The interface and working are still the same. But there is one major difference: the user-interface supports now dark mode. The dark or light mode are selected based on the setting of you operating system. But you can still toggle between dark and light by clicking on the sun in the top right corner.

The archive viewer is still only for Windows, since there are no media players available for AvaloniaUI. I might make a simpler version in the future of this tool and probably integrate it in the Game Viewer. (Not yet decided). To make it easier I separated the archive viewer in it own archive to download.

For Linux you need to install dotnet 8. Easiest to use your packet manager like apt-get. For more info about installing dotnet see Install .NET on Linux
